This weekend is a holiday in Korea for Buddha’s birthday. As part of the celebrations on Saturday night there was a Lantern Parade in jongno. I took a lot of picture which didn’t turn out very week because the floats were moving, and a few videos which you can see below. After the parade I took Macey et al to Hongdae to sample the delights of Korean nightlife, complete with American GIs and cocktails out of a bag – Classy!
